Today, I'm going to write about Cambodia in South East Asia. My ex-classmate went to Cambodia last summer as a member of the volunteer activity, and she introduced this activity to me. so, i may go to Cambodia in Feb.

I studied about Cambodia at a class of International Relationship in first semester. Before I took this class, I had not knew about it well. I'd knew just only Angkor Wat.

This country don't prosper, like Japan and almost people there aren't rich. Then, There was a big civil war, and a lot of people was slaughtered. Cambodia is the same Asian country, but is totally different from us. I think it has a great history i can't imagine.

I've never been to this country, so I'm looking forward to going there in Feb! I wanna watch their way of life and history and reconsider my way of life!! BUT!! I have to save a lot of MONEY!! I need about two hundreds thousand yen until Feb!! 200,000yen!! so, I'll work hard to go there!

The Netherlands- Holland

The Netherlands...this country was the place I planed to go next year as a exchange student and really wanted to go, but it was an impossible dream because I failed on the selection. Foreign interviewers robbed my hope. I intend to go there someday , no mater what!!

What kind of image of Netherlands do you have? Tulip?? I have a image of Netherlands as a tulip, marijuana,windmill, football and so on, but don't know about this country well, so I googled The Netherlands from Internet.

From what wikipedia says, Netherlands is often called Holland,where is located Western Europe and bordered by the North Sea to the north and the west, Belgium to the south, and Germany to the east. The word Dutch is used to refer to the people, language and anything relating to the Netherlands. And then, this country is geographically low-lying country, with about 27% of its area and 60% of its population located below sea level. Ohhh! How dangerous!! Then, it is popular for its traditional windmills, tulips, cheese, clogs (wooden shoes), delftware and Gouda pottery. In addition, to my surprise, it has liberal policy toward drugs, prostitution, homosexuality, and euthanasia.

Let's Go TO the Netherlands!!

Hi!!!!!It's November...it will come winter soon!　It 's timet for snowboading!! Yeah!!

Do you like snowboading?? I went snowboading for the first time when i was high scool student. My friend who went with me was good at snowboading and taught me how to snowboad, so managed to slide .

Last year, I went to snowboading three times in winter season and my skill was gradually going to better. i wanna go to snowboading many times in this year!!

Today, I introduce a popular snowboading spot in Japan. It's Hakuba in Nagano prefecture. I would often go there for skiing, so I'm familiar with this area.

Hakuba is a village placed at the foot of the Northern Alps , northwest of Nagano prefectrure.In winter, a large number of ski/snowboad players massed in this area. Nagano winter Olympic game was also held at Hakuba village. I think Hakuba is good for snowboading, so reccomend you to go there for snowboading!! Let"s go to SNOWBOADING!! with me!!

Hi!!

Today, I introduce one of the best NBA players to you, who plays for Los Angeles Lakers and was awarded the season's MVP in the 2007-2008 NBA season. He is also famous in all over the world.

His name is.........Kobe Bryant!!! His name Kobe is the same as Kobe city where I grew up. Kobe's parents named him after the famous beef of Kobe city, Japan, which they saw on a restaurant menu. When I knew this story for the first time, I felt close to him too much. After that, I soon became a big fun of him .

His play is so cool, excellent and is second to none in NBA league, I think.
In this summer in China, He won a gold medal as a member of the 2008 Summer Olympics U.S. Men's Basketball Team. The audience was fascinated by his play. He is super-star!

so, if you wanna watch his super-play, let's go to the L.A!!!!! You could enjoy it!!

Spain won the Euro 2008! congratulations!! it was very exciting game! Spain performed very well and controled all the time! Spain's players were storong like a matador whose task is to kill the bull. Matador is a hero of Spain.

Xavi, a member of Spain team, belong to FC barcelona. FC barcelona is a football club team of Spain. There are a lot of super-star football players all over the world in FC barcelona like Iniesta, Eto'o, Messi, Henry and Ronaldinho. Their homestadium is Camp Nou.

In barcerona, there is a mysterious building. It is Sagrada Família, which is a massive Roman Catholic church under construction in Barcerona, catalonia, Spain. Construction began in 1882 and continues to this day. Here is famous in Japan. Do you know here???? I think that Sagrada Familia looks like Mont saint Michel. Both are too mysterious.

Tuvalu

The other day, I studied about Tuvalu in a class. I haven't known about this country before. After I knew about it, I felt that we have to think more about global warming.

Now, Tuvalu is facing a submergence crisis, because of global warming. Submergence means to be under the water. Tuvalu is located in the pacific ocean between Australia and Hawaii. Tuvalu is the fewest population country as an independent country.

Tuvalu consists of eight islands. The highest elevation is a just only 5 meters above sea level. Because of this low elevation, this island may be threatened by sea level rise. In the future, this country will be submereged by high tide.

Can you imagine that my country is submerged by sea??

i think this is so serioius problem!

Lndon,Paris

In this summer vacation....

I decided to go London, Paris by oneself in September! maybe!!

Both two citys are the place I've wanted to go before!!

Now, I'm saving money to go there, but not enough so far :(

I wanna save 300,000 yen till September. I'll work much harder!

If you've been to London or Paris before, please give me some imformation and advices!!

ICELAND -Blue Lagoon-

Today is about blue Lagoon in ICELAND!!!!!! Do you know blue lagoon?? I knew blue lagoon for the first time when i watched ainori!!! As you know, ainori is travel variety TV program!! very fun!

Blue Lagoon is an artifical hot spring , formed by outflow of the geothermal(means internal heat of the earth) power station. artifical.....sounds not gooood...,but it's fantastic, I think:)! Around pool and outside it's so beautiful!! the water looks also much nice, much more blue!! The water is about 40 degrees centigrade and contains a lot of minerals!! Also, if you want, there is salt on the bottom of lagoon, you can use this as mud pack:)! it will makes you beautiful!!

In addition, there is a SPA like massage and theraphy, of course , you cost more an expensive. But you are able to be relaxing so much, i think!

Venezia

Hi!! How are you :)??
Today, I'll introduce Venetia of Northest Italy to you.
Venetia is famous in Japan as "city of water". Don't you know that :)?? and is also as a place where is taken " Venice International Film Festival". Venice and Venetia is same, by the way.


As you could imagine from "city of water, Venetia city is built on the water.Can you imagine that you would live the city built on the water?? It is very very ROMANTICCCC! , doesn't it??
In addition, in Venetia, there is no car and bike!! traffic way is only water-boat, gondra or PEDESTRAIN!!! What a ECO it is! ....But it also cause sirious problems, because there are a lot of aged man. So, barrier-free society is being advancing. Also, Venetia is suffering from flood-high-tide. It's a too sirious :




In Venetia, there are about 150 canals. ohh!!

Do you like sports?? Do you like basketball??

I love basketball so much !!!

I've played basketball since I was 10 years old. When I was 11 years old , I knew about NBA for the first time.. Do you know NBA? It's a professional basketball league in the north America. NBA player is admired by all of basketball players,So am I.

I've watched NBA on the TV, but I've never watch on live., so I wanna go America to watch NBA on live, especially, Denver, Colorado.

Because I like Allen Iverson (A.I), who is NBA player and belongs to Denver Nuggets. His height is a only 6 ft (1,83m). People may say 1,83m is so big, but 1,83m is very small in NBA, however, His playstyle is so speedy, aggressive , good ball-handring and....handsome. He is popular among Japanese basketball player. He is my idol!!!!

I really want to watch NBA games on LIVE and A.I plays!!!!!

I want to go to PEPSI CENTER in Denver, colorado.

Mont-Saint-Michel

Hi, Comment aller vous...?...oh, How are you doing : )?


Today, I introduce the best place where i wanna go to you.


Maybe you know, this picture is a Mont Saint-michel in France, which is a one of catholic abbey built on a small island. If i have a lot of money , I wanna go Mont saint Michel!!!!! I 've saw the only the picture, but everythig looks beautiful and surprising. When I saw the Mont-Saint-Michel for the first time, I was surprised at the magnificence of medieval architecture and at the same time I felt something mysterious. Mont Saint-michel has a long long history,which interest me very much!


One of the the reason why i want to go relate with "tennkuu no shiro raputa" of STUDIO GHIBLI, which is a japanese movie(English translation is ''castle in the sky''). I like Studio Ghibli's movie and like ''castle of the sky'' best of all Studio Ghiblis. In this movie, there is a flying caslte, which is very similar to Mont-Saint-Michel. I've heard that Mont-saint-michel is the model of this catsle. This fact also interest me.



Possibly I'm going to go to Flance by myself in this summer vacation. If I go to France, I'll visit Mont-Saint-Michel withoiut fail.
